Body types are different for everyone. Diaz wasn't in bad shape, that's just what he looked like.

Maybe it was from all the years of obesity before he started boxing. But then again, Cotto was a fat fuck too and still looked ripped. Genetics maybe?

Diaz never did any road work, chose to swim instead. they mentioned it every now and again whenever he fought. I always chalked that up as to how he was able to put out so many punches but never really get shredded.

he didnt know how to take the fat off. When you hit that stage you have to start to build muscle to replace that fat with muscle but if you are a boxer you need to be careful about how you do that cause then you might not make weight.

Swimming is still cardio, you can lower body fat % by swimming. Its just juans genetics.
