Marco Huck wants to fight Povetkin again

    http://www.allboxing.ru/archives/2012-07-03_09_37.html

    translation from Russian:

WBO Cruiserweight champion Marco Huck pledged to replace the injured Hasim Rahman against the "regular" WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin.

"The whole world has seen that in the first fight with Povetkin I was the best. I definitely want to fight him again. The account is not yet closed" said Huck to the German edition of Bild. Huck do not need much time to prepare, "I'll go out on a fight with him right now. I will fight with Povetkin even wearing Pajamas - and I'll win."

Huck's trainer Uli Wegner supports Marco: "if he really wants it - no problem, let them box. We are willing to fight Alexander Povetkin in just over 3 weeks."

Man you gotta respect Huck. That guy is THE MAN!
The guy fights anybody and everybody. He needs to settle the score with Povetkin as well as Afolabi. I think he will come out on top vs BOTH guys.

The fact that Povetkin can call himself a heavyweight champion tells you all you need to know about the current state of the sport.

Povetkin manager's reply on a Russian website:

        - They are looking for a WBA approved opponent for Povetkin for a July fight in Moscow

        - they want a rematch with Huck later in the year, but cannot right now, because he's not ranked by the WBA

I don't think anyone takes the lesser of the two WBA belts seriously as a world title. 4 belts is more than enough and the Klitschkos own all of them.
