PLUS Oscar's previous fight was at 150. Just 3 pounds to adjust. Oscar told the media a week before the fight that weight was not an issue that he already had that controlled and even came down to 145 (to gain extra speed). Oscar thought it was a piece of cake compared to what Manny had to do. That is, come up 2 divisions. One fight away from 3 divisions.

It's funny that this guy makes a big deal about Oscar going down 3 pounds from his previous fight, Cotto 1 lb from previous fight, Margarito got a bonus of 3 extra pounds from his career fighting weight but is not amazed at what Manny had to do.

Cotto at 145----- fighting a champion @ 2 pounds below the belt limit, for his BELT NO LESS! People argue its only 2lbs but if thats the case why didnt he simply let Cotto come in at the proper weight.

When he fought Hoya, you conviently forget that he had just moved up to LW only a few months prior..it was basically a 130 lb fighter in there. When he fought Cotto he had just finished fighting Hatton at 140. Manny has had to do some moving as well.

Why should Manny lose just because a guy has 30 lbs on him? thats like losing under unfair circumstances.

He fought Marg at 151, well that was higher than what Cotto fought him at.
