not the ams but I was interested in Harry Simon. His is more comparable to big Ike though since it was self inflicted

That Tua KO looked like a clash of heads to me though, i'm still skeptical to this day about it and Tua even states in some interview I remember seeing he thinks it was a clash of heads.

Like Stevenson He had incredible power on his right people didn't know til they got hit.By the 5: 45 mark Lamon Brewster is doing the booty dew and getting knocked the fk out
This is my favorite by the 1 min mark. Poor Davarryl got hit so hard his brain had to reboot.Even Felix rushed back to help the dude he got hit so hard.Last edited by DannYankee; 07-04-2014, 07:47 AM.

Teofilo Stevenson is an amateur boxer I would've LOVED to see go pro. People keep talking that Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight not happening, but the greatest story NEVER told in the ring was Ali and Stevenson. They were both men of convictions (Ali exempting himself from the Vietnam Conflict & Stevenson not going against his socialist philosophies).
I thought Brim-Jonathan Butler in his new book about Rigo provided a interesting look into Stevenson's last days (Butler was Stevenson's last interviewer before he passed away). He turned down millions to fight Ali, but when he got old, he didn't want to do an interview with Butler without a bottle of vodka and $100. Pretty sad that Stevenson seemingly died broke and addicted to alcohol. But Stevenson stated that he didn't want to make "Sophie's Choice" (read "Animal Farm" by George Orwell)... He also thought that Rigo was a traitor to Cuba.
Mario Kindelan was also an awesome amateur.
But as far as CURRENT ACTIVE AMATEUR BOXERS go? I wouldn't mind seeing these guys turn pro:
Albert Selimov - Dude gave Vasyl Lomachenko a hell of a run in Vasyl's amateur career.
Julio Cesar la Cruz - He schooled the HELL out of that Azeri in the WSB finals. He got some sick feints too.
Roniel Iglesias - Gritty fighter with a lot of power. He gets called "the (Un)Cuban."
Robeisy Ramirez - A natural star. Hopefully, he's taking his suspension O.K., and not lose passion for boxing. Interesting that his rival Marcos Forestal was really the one who ended up defecting after Ramirez was replaced by Forestal on the Domadores.

Superb boxer and also a real nice kid. His passion for boxing seems to be intact, he very eagerly showed me all his photos from London 2012 in his laptop and was just a real cool guy
