Building on a previous thread, Pacquiao and Hopkins were decided to have the best resumes since 2000. Will having a superior resume cause these two fighters to be regarded by history in a more favorable light than Floyd Mayweather Jr.? One would think resume should be the deciding factor for a boxer's place in history, since it represents what you have accomplished and not simply what you could have accomplished. I don't think it makes sense to credit a fighter with a higher place in history simply due to their skill/talent/persona.
