According to the Daily Mail, Virgil Hunter just added a new fighter to his expanding stable in former 140-pound titleholder Amir Khan.
Not just yet, the reigning BWAA Trainer of the Year said Thursday night.
“Yes, we’ve talked about working together, but I don’t see any stories out there with an actual official statement from Khan’s team,” Hunter told BoxingScene.com/CSNBayArea.com. “Until then, they’re still just rumors to me.”
