bah, thats stupid. fighters fall into the rops all the time after being hit, thats doesnt mean they should all be ruled knockdowns.

If Marquez was desperately clinging onto the ropes and his butt dipped to his knee level, thats something else.

If you actually watch the video, Marquez has stopped the downward fall already before his hand even grabbed the rope.

Ronnie has always been obviously biased. hes sounds like an idiot here since those 4 knockdowns did not occur all in one night anyway.

I don't know why people bring this up like it helps Pacquiao's cause... they're basically saying those knockdowns were the only things that put Marquez so much behind the scorecards - otherwise Marquez out boxed him.

*******s will try their best to discredit JMM and call him all kinds of names but us REAL boxing fans all know that JMM operated like a surgeon in both fights...you fanboys will never accept it but Manny took a bad beating in both fights and so did JMM, they are each other's equals in different weight classes of course. Their fights have cemented themselves as classics and we will tell our grandchildren abou them...

Damn, still a lot complaining with Pac vs Marquez fights? "Take away the knockdowns and Marquez clearly won." "Marquez schooled Pacquiao." The fact of the matter is the knockdowns did happen and has everything to do with a fight. If not, why bother deducting a point. Until Marquez learns to go through a fight without his ass touching the canvass, he would never beat Pacquiao especially now that Pacquiao has grown into the higher division. When and if they fight, the knockdowns would still be the determining factor. And no Pacquiao does not school Marquez and neither does Juan Manuel.

                      115-110 Manny Pacquiao
                      115-110 JMM
113-112 Manny Pacquiao (Burt Clement's card). A ridiculously close 1-point victory.

Since when have 1-point victories been a "robbery"? Seriously, what fight were you guys watching? I had Manny winning only because of the 10-6 Round 1. Without that, he got his ass whooped.
The 115 110 score for manny was pathetic manny barely won 3 rounds at most Jmm took over the fight from round two
