They print money to pay off the debt, but then the debt get's increased because it's all interest anyway.

Basically, if the world ever came to not just numbers, but people traded gold etc... the US would be ****ed the most.

They spend 9 times more a year on military. They spend far too much.

Because the government has to borrow the money it prints from the federal reserve at interest.

This happened in 1913 with the inception of the Federal Reserve act in which a private cartel of bankers took the right of printing money from the U.S congress.

Right wingers wanna cut social programs.

          Left wingers wanna increase taxes.

Both are missing the elephant in the room. Neither will put a dent in your precious 'debt".

UK is on 2.3 Trillion if you include the bank bail outs (Which the banks are paying off now that they are in profit), but 1.1 Trillion National debt if it's equivalent to the US 14 Trillion.

So is the US built on money that isn't there?
Actually the 14 trillion figure includes bank bailouts as well, most of which have been paid back (though it appears to be sitting in a slush fund somewhere.)

You are aware that the US has 5 times the population of the UK don't you?

              OK thanks for sharing that.

Still more than the UK even if you did the maths.

Still 14 Trillion no matter how you put it. With interest it will grow a lot faster too.

Your trade defecit a month is about 500 Million a year.

We have 144 Million a year.

I never said the UK was not in debt, but it is still in less debt than the US.

I don't here US people saying the UK is 5 tiems smaller than you when they say we have this many champions etc... LOLOLOLOL

The US debt is astronomical. 100% of GNP. The worst quota in the industrial world.

We don't know because Fort Knox has never been audited. For all we know the Fed banksters stole all the U.S's gold.
