This is a huge step back for Williams. Alcine hasn't done anything of importance in what, 5 or 6 years.

Not a step down from Ishida. And Alcine has never really done much anyway, but he did look pretty good against Lemieux, and had Team Taylor passing on the fight. That said, I doubt he can deal with Paul's volume, he doesn't gas like Lemieux.

Why? It sounds like they wanted to make Williams vs Kirkland, which would have been a great fight, but I don't think Angulo can even come back to America and no way is or should PW go to Mexico for that fight. Williams just needs to get active and work on correcting some defensive flaws. I saw some improvement in those areas in the last fight. He needs to keep jabbing more and be a little less active like he was in the Ishida fight going forward.
