My first thoughts were... 'What's his kid going to do without a father?' Thinking he was going to get life in prison.. The kid gets gets kidnapped, sexually assaulted and he loses his father. That would've really messed him up later in life.

But seeing as to how he didn't serve jail time for executing the molester. That was a WIN.

I'd have a hard time believing any jury would convict a father for that. The man violated a trust by kidnapping a student of his, taking the child out of state and violating said child. I don't care if the father shot the mother sucker 100 times, my verdict would have been "not guilty!" No way I can justify sending a good father to jail over some scum bag I wouldn't piss on if he was on fire.
