Good stoppage, Juanma was 1 punch away from a brutal horrible KO.

Take the loss like a man, your fighter did.

Remember, it's better to stop a fight too early than to stop it too late. We are talking about a fighter's health here. More refs should look out for the fighter's safety. I've seen many fighters take unnecessary damage as a result of incompetent referees.

LOL so if it was up to you Ortiz got stopped in the 6th round. You can't stop a fight when the guy is still throwing punches

          I agree 100%.

What people aren't taking into consideration is that Juanma's game plan was to have Salido break his hands on his head. He wasn't wobbly in the corner he was just trying to hypnotize Salido into a trance in the same way that a cobra does. He had him right where he wanted him before getting robbed by that biased Mexican referee.

Ortiz was still fighting strong and strong is the key word. Lopez was done, he looked slow and his punches didn't have anything behind them. The ref knew this. Lopez was fighting stunned for those last three rounds. He took some nasty shots.

LOL Berto was loading up on big shots landing flush and Ortiz wasn't throwing anything hard, until of course he knocked Berto down(but that never happen because if it was up to you the ref would of stopped him)

Salido was keeping him in that corner in the final seconds, he had landed all those punches and he had just landed a good left to send Juanma back toward the corner where he was about to just CRUSH Juanma! the ref knew what was about to happen, Juanma was defensless and Salido had a ton of energy left, which he proved by sprinting around the ring like his legs were as fresh as the first round. Juanma was DONE! I like to see more decisive stoppages too but I know Juanma was about to be K.O.'d!
