3 and 4 in which ranking?

Looks like Campillo is a little overrated here. All he did was show the world how onedimensional was Cloud (Bhop and Adonis did it better later). That's all he did. Before that he didn't really beat anyone important enough to get him that high in the rankings. I don't think a controversial victory over Cloud should put him ahead of Pascal or Bhop.

Cleverly? LOL It's amazing how these british paper champs manage to get so high in the rankings, of some people, by beating bums in their hometown. Kovalev was the only A class boxer Cleverly faced. Pascal, Dawson and Bhop were all ahead of him in the rankings because he never really beat anyone.

Nobody wants to fight him because they are soooo scared of him? Always the same excuse. Neither him nor GGG are Sonny Liston, they havent even beaten a TOP 3 in their divisions. I get that they are high risk low reward fights and that's why they are being avoided but it's the same that happened to Lucas. Once he beat Peterson (a top 3) he put himself in a position that he couldn't be denied. They need to do that.

campillo beat shumenov, cloud, and murat. hopkins last 3 opponents. if they weren't important why is hopkins ranked #1 right now? because he lost to glass dawson? because he beat pascal years and years ago? tarver? trinidad?

always the same truth. stevenson is fighting fonfarron and hopkins fought murat instead of him. but yes its all about the money because those are huge fights. what position did fonfarron and shumenov put themselves in so they weren' denied? they have much worse resumes than kovalev yet they got the fight. why the double standards?

BHop is Bhop, a big name. Beat Pascal after he beat Dawson who was number 1. After that he only lost to Dawson for the number #1 spot, he is top 3. Campillo never did that. He only has 3 controversial decisions with guys who were considered top 10.

Because that's how the system works. That's what i'm trying to tell you. Harder opponents have harder paths to the championship. Bacause this is business, these guys don't fight for glory they fight for money. Kovalev, just like Lucas, is a high risk-low reward fight. So he needs to put himself in a position to be a high risk-high reward fight. And the only way he is going to achieve this is by beating one of the main names in the division in an impressive fashion like Lucas did with Lamont Peterson.

Fair play, most wouldn't be able to fit this amount of pure, unadulterated bollocks into just two paragraphs.

Somewhat familiar but I disagree for the most part. Only because Stevenson is aware of Kovalev and is addressing him and making statements... he's acknowledging Kovalev.

Matthysse would call out Garcia all the time and his camp would call him out and say Garcia was scared. At least Danny didn't say anything about Matthysse until the fight was made and Angel was acting like he never heard of Matthysse and was downplaying who he was and what he had accomplished to even get a title shot.

Point is, Garcia's camp pretty much ignored Matthysse the whole time he was pushing for that fight while Stevenson and his camp is acknowledging Kovalev and giving responses specifically directed at him. Why jump ship for Showtime and talk from the other side of the road during traffic?

No but Hopkins-Stevenson has Hopkins-Tarver written all over it.

I don't see the parallels. Can you elaborate?
