  • Antonio Tarver Calls Out David Haye For May 21st Showdown In UK! (VIDEO)

Only a few hours ago, Tarver officially called out Haye after jogging through a rainy Florida afternoon.

For each man the other represents a step up from their most recent opponent and, indeed, having the other's name on their boxing record from a legacy standpoint can only be considered a positive thing.

Antonio's desperate. This may be the first time we see a man bring a shank into the ring.

Would be a good tune up for Haye in the UK and Tarver would be able to pay off some the debts he's in, main thing is that they have to make sure both fighters get tested rigiorusly for PEDs before and right after the fight.

If Tarver lost he should fight Briggs and both should retire afterwards.

Tarver is much better than Haye's last opponent, even at this age. He would be a good step up for Haye from the last fight and I can't see Haye blitzing him in one round. Tarver has never been knocked out yet in his 39 fight career.

Quite a good fight actually, considering Haye's record. We either get to see Haye lose to an old man, or see Tarver stopped for the first time in his career. Win win, really.

Tarver is way past his prime and a blown up light heavyweight but he's better than Haye's last opponent. The guy Haye fought last time was a full time hair dresser who took up boxing for fitness....or so it appeared.

Agreed, I think it's an interesting match up and Tarver is a highly experienced, intelligent vet with some serious skills. He's still far better than Haye's last opponent. I'd predict Tarver stops De Mori in under 8 rounds so he should provide an interesting challenge to Haye.
