Corrales, Castillo, and Hatton all have shots to get in. He beat a past prime-still good Genaro and Marquez, and will get a past prime-still good Cotto on there in May.

Look at some of the people that have gotten into the HOF from recent era's, and those will definitely have good shots to get in.

Hatton did beat Kostya Tszyu when he was the #1 JWW in the world and won titles in 2 weight classes. Was the RING Champ at 140 for 4 years. Beat Tszyu (in the HOF), Collazo, Urango, Lazcano, and Malingaggi. Had other wins over Maussa and Stewart. If you seriously compare the resume's of Tszyu (who's in) to Corrales-Castillo-Genaro-Hatton, it's very similar.

Hatton only failed against the top fighters from that era. It's very similar to Floyd Patterson when he fought at HW. Patterson was the man until he ran, just failed in his biggest fights (Liston and Ali). Patterson has Archie Moore, Roy Harris, Ingemar Johansson, Tom McNeeley, Eddie Machen, Henry Cooper, and Oscar Bonavena on his resume. Solid but failed in his biggest fights.

You're right. Straightleft, you have watched so much boxing that you finally figured out the equation. Floyd has never fought a "prime hall of fame" fighter. Prime Hall of Fame fighters didn't even exist in the past, normally they had to fight their entire careers and then hope they would be worthy of induction.

Floyd fighting those contenders, man, he really missed out on all those "Prime Hall Of Famers."

Nobody can beat "Prime Hall of Famers" quite the way that Manny can...he really is the best ever!

I dunno if Barrera was in his prime when Pac fought him. That was in what, 2003? He'd been in wars with Morales, Jones, Mckinney, and been KO'd by Jones even before that. That's a lot of tear on the guy.

he wasnt prime, but he was still clearly one of the best. it was a great win. morales tho, wasnt prime. and pac never really beat jmm in his prime.
