WTF is going on in boxing right now????

Everytime I log in, things are getting worse and worse in the boxing world.

Martinez has no problem's fighting Pac at 150, but must fight Kirkland at 160????

It certainly is. But Im referring to the weight. I dont see what Kirkland has at 154 to ask Martinez to go down there. You'd think they'd just fight for the middleweight title.

Martinez offered Angulo a 155 catchweight if I remember correctly so maybe something can be worked out.

I think its pretty moot anyway because Anne Wolfe already admitted she wanted Kirkland nowhere near Sergio yet.

How much do you think he got paid for fighting Macklin and Barker? Money wasn't an issue then was it?

Hell, that was a fight on HBO. He fights Kirkland and that's possibly PPV = more money.

Money being the issue is BS. Even if he fights Chavez Jr, Martinez has no negotiation leverage whatsoever. He would get paid what Chavez Jr wants him to get paid.

Money being the motivation has no part in this at all.
