I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he does demand a trade, when Shaq left and everything fell apart he demanded a trade; until L.A acquired Gasol for some scrubs (bull%hit).
With Cp3 being traded to the Clips and Magic calling all trades off with Howard L.A currently has no future, and no hopes of contending this year with the recent trade of Odom and Artest aka MWP sucking it up. Kobe knows he can't lead his team to a 'ship without a serious amount of help (this has been proven throughout the years).
I don't know how serious this rumor is though so there's a possibility nothing will happen.
Who could his possible suitors be though? He needs to be on a staaacked team to be happy.
In his prime years he got to play with probably the most dominant C of all time. After that he finally needed all star quality players to win again.
-Byum-2nd best C in the NBA
-Gasol-aside from last season was either the 1st or 2nd best PF in the NBA
-Artest-One of the best defenders in the NBA (practically shut Durant down by himself)
-Fisher one of the most clutch players in the NBA.
-Odom the best 6th man in the NBA he also created a bunch of problems for opposing defenses, recently traded for nothing.
As well as a HOF coach in Phil Jackson.
