I think I read that somewhere.
I don't think this is a racial thing. It has more to do being exploited of their natural resources
A lot of African countries are getting exploited for their natural resources by outside interests and are getting robbed blind.
Those countries without gold, natural gasses and oil are the countries in Africa that are the most stable.
Also lets not forget the droughts and Malaria, which leads to starvation and low productivity in many countries.
Take Singapore and India for example, when they eradicated malaria and their economies boomedLast edited by Mohammedini; 09-22-2011, 11:33 AM.

Africa has a rich history that tends to be ignored and not taught. That is why many people are so ignorant when it comes to Africa.
Especially Americans who barely know were to find their own country on a world map.
Uncivilized?

Alot of African countries were doing very very good in the 1950's and 60's. If you go to Congo and other countries now and speak to the few old people alive from back then they will ALL say they want it back.
There used to be roads, water, electricity, jobs, schools.
go to Congo now, 99% of the roads are gone due to decay and it will take you 30 days to travel 500 miles by car.
The only people left that care about the place is Bible Thumpers.
Make the connection.

Ethiopia has a barely working agriculture where they can't grow or export nothing except coffee, which they get slaughtered in the global market due to the low yield of the crops and the global competition. Ethiopia do have money, but it is concentrated at the top while a huge chunk of the country is dirt poor.Last edited by Mohammedini; 09-22-2011, 11:53 AM.
