Matthysse's team comfirmed negociations for a fight against Maidana

From interviews I have seen of both, it has always seemed like Maidana doesn't want it with Lucas while Lucas would love the fight.

Maidana is a really hard fight for Matthysse IMO.

He's a bigger, stronger guy. I favor Lucas. But it won't be easy.

Regardless of what you and NE say or what happened in the amateurs, I think Matthysse beats Maidana with ease. I would even put points on him by KO.

Argentinians are not like mexicans, they don't want to see their top boxers fighting each other, that's why it says "other many don't want to see" It's pretty clear to me what fight is talking about.

I think this is the case with any country who are scarce in pro fighters (Cuba, Argentina, DR, etc.)

i don't trust in triangle theories, He can take punches, he can last 12 rounds and can put sleep any top figther any time. That's enough for me to consider him an elite fighter (i'm not talking about p4p).
