what if a fighter is just so damn good he just make his opponents look bad that ppl called them past their prime?? where do u put this?? FMJ made his opponents look bad that they become gunshy and makethem look stupid and past their prime but nobody complained??

Here's the thing, DLH, Mosley, Margarito, etc. looked bad before they fought Manny.

      • Pac is probably the first fighter ever, period.

I'd pick a drunk Larry Merchant over Pac at this stage. By first round KO.

          Berto vs Clottey (50/50 imo)?
Berto vs Mosley (the version that Pac fought)?
Berto is naturally bigger since he originally fought north of 147.
He also lost (upset) to a fading JWW in Ortiz.
I say he goes 1-2 against that line up.

Hatton vs Mosley (the version that Pac fought)?
Hatton does not belong in 147 like Marquez, he goes 0-3 against that line up.

BTW, the Mosley that Pac fought will not fight the same against Berto and Hatton.

If anyone will attempt to pull down one fighter, try at least to use facts as basis for the argument and not purely from one's own biased opinion.
Lets not get childish... Bias opinion? U have yet to actually argue with anything I said, all you've done is say its an opinion (despite very few of it actual being pure opinion)...

And no, there was no reason to bring up Floyd. The TS didn't say Floyd's was better, all he said was Pac's is overrated. So ur retort to what the TS said is to mention Floyd... That makes no sense and just goes to show kind bias person I'm talking to

I would call that man Edwin Valero.

Manny been fighting oldies and catchweights for years though so your "What If" has to be reserved for someone who actually did that.

                    2) Z. Judah - lost to Baldomir just before losing to Floyd.
                    3) C. Baldomir - had 9 losses coming into the Floyd fight.
                    4) R. Hatton - a LWW
                    5) J. M. Marquez - a LW who was even cheated at the scales by Floyd
                    6) Shane Mosley - 38 years old and way past prime.

Looking at this list (except for Mosley in his prime), which among these fighters could have beaten Cotto, Clottey or Margarito in the condition they were at, at the time Pac fought them?

Take note that Floyd fought two of these fighters who were coming off from a loss. That's two out of of the six Floyd fought at WW, or 33% out of total.

On the other hand, during the same period when Floyd went up to WW, Pac fought a total of thirteen fights (excluding the ODLH fight) where he fought only two boxers who were coming off a loss. That's only 15% out of the total.

So, Floyd fanatics, before any of you would even try to embellish Floyd's record and discredit Pac's, look at the comparative records and learn....then go to a dark corner and cry.
                    To Hi Hater,

You insinuated earlier that Floyd's WW record is better than Pac's. Above is Floyd's record. Explain why you consider this as better than Pac's WW record.

Do you honestly think that, aside from Shane, can any of the fighters that Floyd fought at WW beat any of the version of Cotto, Clottey, or Margarito that Pac fought?

Pac didn't fight Margarito at welterweight
