The day before the fight they were saying the same thing that we puerto ricans were gonna say that after garcia wins hes from PR because he was a champion now and he will be all over the news.. Guess what? i receive the newsppers every day and saw a fat little boy ( guess he was retarted) playing basketball with some others (in the sport part) and never saw any coment about Garcia... Dont know why but everytime you guys mention Danny Garcia, John Ruiz comes to mind. LOL. If his blood is puerto rican, he knows the culture, speaks some what the language and wants to know more about the island and heritage, then we will welcome him but if he chooses to ignore and not care about his roots during his lifetime and chooses now to throw the flag around to get ppl to follow, then I'm not in favor.

Weather we consider him a Puerto Rican, gringo or whatever else, he is still Puerto Rican blood and a Puerto Rican champion. Just not one directly from the island.
