Vicious rumor for the past three months was that Duterte's
cancer had returned and was inoperable and terminal (it'd
metastatized na raw) with a prognosis of as little as 7 months
    made last October pa... allegedly.

That is why interest in the Veep stakes has been so intense.
If the rumor is true, then we may see a President Leni Robredo
after only a couple of months of Duterte in office as President...
Duterte may not even be able to perform his duties as President
if the alleged cancer worsens enough to sideline him physically.

Again, that is the rumor from late last year pa.
Maybe a mere rumor is all that it ever was and will be.

            Lol, okay...

So now COMELEC and Smartmatic (provider of voting machines)
are claiming that the insertion of extra script to server coding,
on the very night of nationwide vote-tallying, was for cosmetic
purposes only, and did not in any way affect the actual tallies.

Allegedly, the additional script corrects the way certain names
are displayed: the Hispanic "Ņ" was allegedly-unsupported prior
to the change, causing the following error:

candidate name "NAPEŅAS" would mis-display as "NAPE?AS"

My problems with ^that explanation are:

            1. ANY change to the software, so late in the game, creates
suspicion, and if it was merely-cosmetic, it wasn't worth all
the doubt it generated. They should have left it alone.

            2. Smartmatic didn't even clear the hack/fix with COMELEC,
prior to inserting the additional script. COMELEC now says
that yes, it would have been proper to clear it with them
            first, but hey, "no biggie".

            3. Smartmatic servers have been in use since 2004, in places
like Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and yes, the
Philippines, where the "Ņ" appears in surnames like Peņalosa,
Maņosa, Muņoz, Cariņo, dela Peņa etc... heck, the late Roy
Seņeres ran in 2013 for Congress, and I don't recall a display
error with respect to his name in COMELEC tallies back then.
So, it's not easy to believe Smartmatic forgot all about an
            alphabet-character they'd been using/incorporating for over
a decade prior, and now suddenly had to re-incorporate it
            to their server script.

who provided this in the first place? the government right? and who are in control of the government now? yep!

Nah, Bongbong is too laid-back about it.
If he can't be bothered, it's just fucked.

I have no preferred guy/gal in VP but I agree to this. I don't even believe for one moment that it was not cleared via Comelec. We payed billions for this thing and a proper software release process is non-existent. Either that or someone payed that Venezuelan guy tons of money. The lax attitude of Comelec seem to support rather than disprove that.

Couple this with the mathematical progression analysis and you get a not so wild cheating conspiracy. But that was also shut down due to death threats to the analyst.
