  • Why aren't there as many films about the Korean War???

You always see films about the World War II, Vietnam, Middle East, and others....but why haven't there been as many major films in this country about the Korean war, something that cost the lives of 35,000 American soldiers???

You'd think there'd be more films about it in this country. My grandfather served in Korea, and it's a shame that war has not been seen in major films as much as others, and is often forgotten about.

It didn't end in "glorious victory" or have the senselessness of Vietnam. A stalemate isn't much of an enthusing finish for Hollywood.

            Because you got M*A*S*H

Plus it only went on for 3 years, not very big compared to other major wars.

36,000 Americans died in Korea. You'd think there'd be more films in this country about it.

since when did Hollywood give a **** about being historically accurate? It could easily end up any way they wanted it to.

Besides they dont need to go into the final outcome of the war, a lot of war movies spend 90% of the time following 1 platoon around. 1 major battle that was won is all they need
