This fight is being built like it's a superfight but it's just two contenders going at it and should really have happened in January. The build up isn't going to make it a 2 mill PPV lol Jeez.

It'd be more believable if Thurman actually fought, the lil beach fights like a straight up coward retreating and running like a little scared hoe.

I have no respect for Thurman nowadays. Porter is the only one worthy of that video and its theme.

Ya no matter how many times Haymon tries and fails, he doesn't seem to realize or care that 2 black figures just doesn't sell.

You would of thought the complete failure of Jacobs-Quillin would of woke him up. But nope...

They even did an all access for that fight, it didn't even break 300k ratings. Even Friday night fights did over 300k.

It's got nothing to do with them being black but it has everything to do with them being contenders and the fact that this fight has already been hyped for at least 6 months like it was some huge ppv but it's not.

This is the type of standard fight you'd get on skysports before Eddie got involved.

Most superfights in the modern history of the sport have been between black fighters. That doesn't matter at all imo. Like [MENTION]soul_survior[/MENTION] says these two guys just haven't done enough to justify anything more than low key hype, and even that has been dampened by the length of time this fight has been on the radar. It's a good fight but it's not quite what they're trying to make it into.
