Why is Randy Couture billed as 6'2?

I think it was the weigh in where I first noticed that 5'9 Toney was about the same height as Randy but I didn't know if Randy had shoes on or anything like that.

But come fight night, both were basically the same height so whats the deal.. is Randy actually 5'9-5'10 or is Toney 6'2?




This reminds me of BBall fans who thought Iverson was 6'2 when he was barely scratching 5'11.

at the weigh-ins, Toney had his shoes on and Randy didn't.

and I don't remember anyone thinking iverson was 6'2. I think the common knowledge was that he was 6'0 and the hardcore fans knew that he was more like 5'11.

Just like how Carwin was 6'5, the hight of athleles and celebrities are always exaggerated !
