Mythical Match Up #2: Riddick Bowe vs. Lennox Lewis (Fall, 1994)

First of all, don't take my fantasy fight date too literally. I know that the fall of '94 was when Lewis was TKO'd by Oliver McCall, but let's ignore that for this question. Let's say anywhere in that '91-'95 prime-Bowe window.

This is another one of the greatest fights nEVER, at least in my time.

Tell me, in your opinion, how would it have gone down?

The version of Riddick Bowe that showed up against Holyfied the first time would beat Lennox in my opinion.

The problem is that this version of Bowe was rare and he was more likely to show up overweight and/or unmotivated.

I think the best version of Lewis would beat Bowe.

But if they had fought like they were supposed to who knows, 50/50!

We were ripped off of the superfight of the 90's.

This was supposed to be Lewis' legacy fight but instead he had to make do with a past prime Holy and the corpse of Tyson.

That's a bit harsh mate! Bowe was a good bloke! He deserved his championship. He just should have put the pork chop down a bit longer to atleast go Lennox.

I've always picked Lewis and have no doubt that Bowe blatantly ducked him.
