154 is one of the sports hottest divisions. why dont sergio martinez just move down?

Almost every one of the guys you listed won't fight him. Kirkland probalby would, but Ann Wolf said he isn't ready yet. Nobody wants to see a third Paul Williams fight.

A Lara right fight would be cool, but a styles clash is very likely.

Martinez would have problems doing 154 and also most guys at that division won't fight him either. BTW the 160 division has pretty good competition, but the problem is the same that at 154, most top guys don't want to fight each other.

This too^ Martinez walks around in the 170's so 154 is not going to be easy for him to make. Martinez will only drop the weight for a large paycheck and I can understand that.

He should have no problems making 154. The guy is more of a JMW than a MW. What was his weigh-in for his last fight? Like 157 or 158? His problem is he has no fanbase, he's loyal to his promoter who doesn't have the power of a Top Rank or GBP, and he's too high risk/low reward for the guys at 154.
