Pac was just being cautious but doesnt mean for sure it effected the outcome of the fight and it didnt which Cotto admitted after the fight. Pac might have hoped it would effect Cotto, but doesnt mean to say it did. He couldnt beat Clottey convincinly at 147 so why expect him to beat pac at 147?

Funny, i remember people were saying the same thing when cotto fought mosley. He was too fast, way better footwork, hands too quick, too strong, etc. Some people never learn i guess.

Marquez fought Pac at 144. That's also 2 weight class from his natural weight.

Cotto has enough skill to make ther first 4-6 rounds look interesting. Bottom line though, Mayweather will be landing clean accurate shots and Cotto will be missing his power shots. Mayweather breaks him down the stretch on his way to a late tko.

Cotto's best bet would be to work the jab like his life depended on it, but even then his timing isn't as good as Floyds.
