"I don't know what happened. I was giving him great work. I was putting the pressure on him. I was doing the Manny Pacquiao movements. I was giving him angles. I wasn't slacking off. I'm not a slacker. Everybody knows. I don't know what happened. I got sent home not knowing why I got sent home," sta Read Full Story >>>http://fighthype.com/pages/content5928.html

I think he was doing too much "gato" and not enough Pacquiao.

            ^^This

He said before..he was trying to emulate Pacquiao but still doing his Gato moves..

he's gotta understand Cotto doesn't need "gato" moves..so if he kept trying to benefit from the sparring sessions by doing his own moves to see how he stands next to a world class fighter than he got selfish..and got disposed of..that's my guess..

I wish Cotto would elaborate on why this decision was made tho..I'm curious...

"They sent me home without giving me a reason. I take my work as a sparring partner seriously. I'm 6-0 as a chief sparring partner"

There is way too much fuss and talk going on about a sparring partner being sent home.

I don't worry about what fighters fighters are doing in the gym. The only person who I worry about training in the gym is myself. Everyone else, I just hope they get in the best shape possible.

Then lets see what happens on fight night. That's all I care about.
