The Zab fight is a good fight to watch and realize that Manny could do what Zab did and so much more. The more is what will make the difference.
I don't agree because the styles are just too different. Trainers say a lot, but the one pitfall will always be that they don't actually have to fight.

A guy that's not used to throwing a lot of combinations in general like Zab is obviously gonna be extra weary when fighting another sharpshooter. So what use is that advice to him if he has to step outside of his comfort zone and do stuff he never normally does in order to get the win? Manny does not sit there patiently waiting for you to overextend yourself, or leave openings while you punch. He actively forces you to make mistakes and leave openings with his pace, footwork, and aggression.

Often times they say the guys that will give you the most trouble are guys that do the same things. It's like a mirror where you have to find out who applies that style better. Obviously Manny is eons ahead of Zab in every department, but they don't fight anything alike. Not saying Manny can't win but it won't look at all similar to me as that fight. Manny is not gonna sit around waiting to catch Floyd with a perfect right hook counter. He's gonna be balls to the wall which also leaves Floyd plenty of opportunities to counter which is why that comparison doesn't work for me personally.

      • People really need to stop with the TBE crap.. Anyone who has actually followed the sport and not talking about the last 10years knows damn well Floyd aint TBE.. Yall really drink the kool-aid waaay to much

Plus to top it off, saying Floyd wins cause hes undefeated? Really? Wheres the logic to that...

These guys are both 0-0 against each other.. Floyd thinks he can prob deal with Pacs style until he realizes how fast Pac actually is..

Same goes for Pac, Pac says he can crack that defense until he actually gets in the ring with Floyd..

Respond to me only with non bias logic, not cause Floyds TBE or Pacs been KOed so hes easy work.

Floyd limits opponents out put by moving, being at distance, countering first or second shot thrown , fighters get discouraged. They can't even get to him and when they do they hitting shoulders and air.

PAC will get in and out quickly . Just be throwing more than he's done in recent fights. Feint to back Floyd up and disrupt his rhtymn .

Maidana got that heavy thud shot

Manny got the sharp snap zip explosive power- Zab Judah type. And we saw Floyd go down . He didn't see it coming

Manny has to win early rounds because Floyd will start to take over .

          Manny by decision

          Deal with it
Manny isn't fighting a punching bag where he can just move in and out without getting hit.

          • yadda yadda yadda

throwing a lot of punches wont work

everybody always talk about pressure but all it sounds to me like is being busy and hoping you will still a few rounds

its about effective aggression and if youre not landing, its not effective

throwing 1000 punches and landing 230-250 is sad

Manny is gonna lose, and the excuses will come in like a blizzard in the Arctic like everyone else they said Mayweather wouldn't fight or was scared of

Manny is great, he may be competitive but he isn't beating Mayweather.....Manny plays checkers and Mayweather plays chess

Everyone talks about speed or throwing a lot of shots, how strong someone is, yadda, yadda...... but the greats know its about adjusting, timing, and controlling the pace of the fight.....he has been a world champion majority of his career for a reason

            • i get it....Mayweather is a bad role model, a woman beater, he shouldn't win this fight

Too bad boxing isn't about morales, public perception, or who is a nicer person

Manny is cheated on his wife and gambles so who gives a crap

Mayweather is a better fighter, that's why he will win....better skills, bigger man, and smarter

Manny throws more shots and is a southpaw....southpaw isn't even an advantage.....speed is hard to measure because application of it has to be taken into consideration

Mayweather has better timing and accuracy, that trumps speed

being busy against a defensively responsible fighter brings on physical AND mental fatigue being countered and missing

Manny gets frustrated in the Ring, Floyd smiles it off and adjusts and the proof is in the pudding

People saying, when was the last time Mayweather fought someone as fast as he is or as fast as Manny is like asking Lebron James when was the last time he had to guard someone who could jump as high as he can....its stupid considering Mayweather has always been one of the fastest guys in his weight class so of course he doesn't deal with a lot of his guys with his own natural speed, much like Pacquaio doesnt

              • Assuming Pacboy becomes careful and not fall for Floyd's traps, Floyd simply will lose. Chris Algeri, one of the many Floyd wannabees who fought exactly like Floyd in his fight with Pacboy, found out the hard way several times on the canvass that Floyd's style will not work against the Pacboy.

Floyd looking for the lucky punch, hit and run will not work, because he will be hit like Chris and touch the canvass like Chris did, and lose 10-8 rounds.

this must be an alt account lol

Chris isn't a third of the fighter or has a third of the know how Mayweather does.

Chris freaking Algieri is the example you used to how Manny will beat Mayweather.....a more accurate look at how the fight will play out is Manny vs. Morales or JMM.....boxers who can do it all in the ring....Mayweather, Marquez, and Morales are all great fighters....Algeri isn't even a top 50 welterweight lol

And Manny's fast counters will cut Floyd's already low work rate down as well. It goes both ways.

                    Manny via activity.

Though, I disagree Floyd would win against Bradley. Floyd will get roughed up. Bradley's in and out movement will frustrate Floyd. Unfortunately we will never see this matchup. Floyd will try to maintain his status as the best black boxer of his era.
Lmao!! Are y'all serious??? Y'all can't be serious!! Boxers always talk about levels! Bradley is a B level! Floyd is a A+ level fighter! I can't beleive y'all putting Bradley up there with Floyd! Disgraceful!! I can't wait for May 2nd! Y'all will be shocked! Then the excuses will come!!!
