The HW division is pretty poor all round to be honest, but I think we have a gem or two in the UK in Joshua and maybe young fury, the next few years will confirm that though.

        I never said he wasn't.

However he was supposedly head and shoulders better than anyone not named Klitschko but he has done nothing to prove it.

He got his ass kicked by a Cruiserweight for crying out loud.

My point is simply that he is not as good as he was made out to be a couple years ago when he was viewed as a legitimate threat.

The fact that you posted this ranking is hilarious. Fury and Pulev are the only guys who even beat someone with a pulse and they beat a Cruisweight and a 42 year old. 4 of the 6 shouldn't even be considered active fighters.

Chagaev's 12 round decision win over Jovo Pudar was particularly inspiring and deserving of a world ranking.

All of them are on the other rankings too so they can't all be wrong.

Let's talk about the North American fighters on the list:

Stiverne - 37 years old, not the future
Thompson - 42 years old, not the future
Arreola - 32 years old, about to lose to Stiverne
Wilder - 28 years old, beaten no one yet

Jennings had a good win at the weekend, along with Deontay he's the last hope but I wouldn't be sure either beat Arreola or Thompson let alone the European fighters.

I kinda understand what the TS is trying to say, a lot of the Euro hopefuls have gone bust or looked completely inadequate at the top level and some just haven't come on the way people thought they would (Pulev, Ustinov, Helenius).

H2H I think the two best heavies not named Klit are Chisora and Fury, possibly a fit Solis and if Pulev can get his game together.

jennings may turn out to be world class and Wilder had the power to be fun for a while. Other than that, the division looks dead for the foreseeable future, till Hughie and AJ come of age.

Well, to be fair, in 2012-13, Pulev posted a better series of wins than any other heavyweight, including Wlad. Abbell was just a stay busy fight.

Not "sold" on him being what? The next Muhammad Ali? I'm not sold on that either. But I'm sold on him being the best HW contender these days, and one capable of giving Wlad a good fight.

And if you are not sold on Pulev, how the heck are you sold on Wilder and Jennings? They have beaten literally nobody of note.
