Just finished reading this book - went and sought it out thanks to this thread. It was an entertaining read, full of funny anecdotes.
Best bit for me was the line (about Floyd): What's the point of being the best boxer in the world if everyone thinks you're a dickhead?
Also, the bit about Liam Gallagher poncing around with one of Ricky's belts before the Malignaggi fight, practising how he was gonna hold it up in the mirror before they exited the dressing room. Such a poser
With regards to the Mayweather fight, yeah Ricky still seems bitter... understandably. Should've made the fight on neutral ground, maybe?
Anywaysss, although Ricky lost some fights, he's loved by so many. He seems human and honest, which is worth more than an '0'. He is himself everywhere he goes, there's no pretence. Whoever's saying, 'Oh I saw Floyd, and he was OK with me'... this seems to be the exception rather than the general rule, no? The general rule being that he is a dick deluxe.
