No! Not a deer! They're the most ferocious animals in the wild!

Wait till you see the documentary about the two most vicious deer of all - Rudolf and Bambi. They will rape your mom and eat your dog (unless it's a Pitt Bull or Wolf).

My great dane took down a deer once, along with this fat ass lab. The lab didn't do **** though, it just watched lol. But then again, my great dane at that time (12 months) was 200 lbs and when it was on it's hind legs he was taller than my cousin who's 5'10

              The Wolf.

They're much bigger; and they've got an advantage by being a wild animal and more accustomed to having to fight for their lives.

A wild animal should always be favoured over a domestic one, even one trained for combat, IMHO.

For one thing, the fight will never happen.

Any barking dog can keep a wild pack of wolves at bay from the sheep herd. Wolves are opportunistic animals and will hunt down the weakest.

However...a wolf, if it must fight, is a formidable animal. It fights a lot within its own pack to maintain its heirarchy or try to become the alpha male or female.

If a wolf was to DEFEND itself against a Pitt Bull, it's a 50/50 chance of winning. It may be more powerful but its long legs are vulnerable to breakage from the more stout and compact Pitt Bull. Pitt Bulls also have that extra skin so if a wolf should get to the neck, the Pitt Bull can still manuever and attack the wolf. Still...if the wolf's canines penetrate through the skin and into the neck muscles of the Pitt, it could be over very quickly.

                  It's a toss up.

Again...it's a fight that would not happen as a wolf will not risk its life fighting a creature it doesn't want to eat.
                  Good, intelligent, well thought-out post.

                  Props, Snoop!

WOOOOW...Some of these responses are just funny. A German Shep. aint a match for a game pit. Name another dog that will continue to fight...or push the fight while it is badly hurt. P4P the Pitbull is the strongest dog on the planet. It dont have no extra skin on its neck, or locking jaws either. Just the ability to take alot of punishment and still dish out its fair share. A Pitbull against any other dog is not even fair. The Wolf on the other hand is a big ass animal. Im sure out of 3 matches with a pitbull of comparible size...the wolf would win.
