  • From lightweight to light middle, how much is size an issue?

The broner/malinaggi fight got me thinking about this, but fighters around these weights tend to be around the same size/height (on fight night). Where as middleweight upwards we tend to really see the divide in size, Chavez jr/Martinez for example.

Broner vs Rees, Perez, Rodriguez, Ponce... Yea the size difference still plays in smaller weights.

Broner is huge anyway he must of been damn near killing himself at 130. The guy has openly said he walks around at approx 155.

Whilst Paulie maybe the weakest champion in the division and on the slide as well as feather fisted at least Broner will be fighting a guy his own size.
When he moved up in weight & fought DeMarco (a big guy himself for the division) he still outweighed DeMarco by 6lbs.

DeMarco was still a twig next to Broner. Was 6 lbs really the difference between the two?
