    Greatness is defined by the volume of quality work a fighter does in his career. There's plenty of 1 hit wonders in boxing that would be considered great just for havin a win over 1 great fighter in his prime if you follow this logic.

      and i think tyson should be considered great just because how dominate and how explosive he was in the 80's if there ever was a single fighter that saved boxing it was tyson. i also think we missed some of tyson's prime when he went to jail. even though he had lost to douglas i think he was still in his prime and had some good fights with ruddock before he went to jail to show that he could still be in a good tuff fight and come out on top. i think we could have seen him beat holyfield and bowe but we will never know.
