We're not saying fighters today don't compare to fighters in the past. Truthfully, fighters today are quicker and stronger and would definitely be able to beat old school fighters. But to be the GOAT, it's pretty much impossible because the sport is not run in a way that any fighter today can have the resume or longevity to topple what guys like Duran, SRR, Pep, Ali, and the rest of the recognized best ever did.

Basically, Floyd would have to become light heavyweight champion of the world and beat all serious competition in every division along the way to have a chance. Pacquiao would have to clean out 168 to have a chance.
