This list is if they played a 4-7 in the playoffs, not regular season performance.

East

1. Heat - They're the best in the East until proven otherwise
2. Celtics - Swept Knicks and competitive games against Heat; lack a closer
3. Bulls - Bulls have to prove themselves better than Celtics; the upgrade at the 2 might be the difference... we'll see.
4. Knicks - Chandler is a good upgrade; tough matchup for top 3 because of their strengths at 3,4,5
5. Pacers - Good shot at passing the Knicks
6. Hawks - Depending on Teague's development could pass Pacers
7. Magic - Still Howard and the rest of the team... Good enough for 7
8. 76ers - Good young team, still need a few pieces


West

1. Mavericks - Veterans, clutch, Chandler and Barea-less, but added the potential double-double a game and length of Odom
2. Thunder - Athleticism, offense, speed, and explosiveness
3. Grizzlies - Athleticism, offense, power, and explosiveness
4. Lakers - Would struggle against the athleticism of OKC and Griz; shooting of Mavs
5. Clippers - Have almost all the tools, but need experience.
6. Trail Blazers - A healthy Greg Oden moves them to the top 4 (really...)
7. Spurs - Unless Duncan can get his game to where it was at, this is there spot
8. Denver - All around good team... Missing some of the pieces that added to their depth and offense from last year...
