Usually Pac/May B sides get $3-6 million. Canelo is on that level of Pac selling wise. He could offer GGG $5-6 million and that would be fair.

Chavez Jr is probably not seeing $15 mill from the Canelo fight, not from the PPV purse. It will have to be from endorsements, gate and everything combined that he may reach $15 mill, i'm calling it now.
Dude do you realise how many will TV Azteca pay for rights to this, and mexican sponsors, let alone USA PPV,this fight is $$$,its bigger then Canelo-GGG

Chavez is a bigger draw and is lower risk than GGG. win win situation for Canelo/GBP

The fact that 15 million would be GGG's biggest pay day has nothing to do with anything. That's the same argument that Pacquiao haters used to say he should take Mayweather's flat fee offer of 30 million. Pacquiao stood his ground and made many times 30 million. Chavez vs Canelo is a big fight but it isn't the fight the whole boxing world is dying to see. GGG vs Canelo is a much bigger fight. Even if an offer of 15 million is really on the table, which I doubt, why should GGG accept it knowing Canelo might make as much as 50 million. Oscar isn't fair or neutral. He wants most of the money and he really wants the fight not to happen for years. GGG and his team can decide for themselves what is or isn't a fair offer without any assistance from guys on this board who hate him. GGG should be getting at least 35 percent rather than the 20 percent Chavez gets because GIGANTIC G vs Canelo is a much bigger fight than Chavez vs Canelo. They can't have that fight without him.

$6 million plus 20% of the PPV will likely end up being less than the $15 million Golovkin was offered.

This isn't 2012. Golovkin sells a lot of tickets and gets better ratings than Chavez jr. there was a time when Chavez was a big draw, and it's been over for a few years.

Indeed but Chavez is an irrelevant bum and the fight is a side show. You'd hope a much stronger B side gets better money for the biggest fight in boxing

If Chavez vs Canelo is a bigger fight than GGG vs Caneno then why are so many members of this board angry that Canelo is fighting Chavez instead of GGG and trying to make it GGG's fault?

$6 mil is the guarantee, he's not getting $6 mil + 20%. He'll start getting 20% when/if the fight makes the guarantees.
