I don't think anyone being reasonable really thinks that GGG hasn't fought anyone, but he's fought lesser "top" guys even based on the above info. Everyone listed above fought a Champ, #1 or #2 guy except three of the most criticized fighters in boxing resume-wise, GGG, Brook & Ward. I think there is something to the criticism these guys get because of that that is deserved criticism by fans & pundits.

What an epic fail this thread was. LMAO GGG fans trying to polish the turd that is his resume and pretend that if you do it enough it will transform it from shyt to gold. SMH

          Quality, not quantity.

OP sounds like Floyd fans trying to prop up bums like Victor Ortiz and Robert Guerrero just because they were ranked at the time. Still doesn't make them quality opponents. GGG has a weak ass resume and can't sell PPV's.

I'm so surprised at how u seem positive that the fight won't happen when they say it will. What's your reasoning behind this, barring a Kovalev loss in Russia?

Damn! Looking at that original list, it's a who's who of HBO fighters plus Kell Brook. Clearly a credible, unbiased author.

You take out GG in that list and not one of those was ducked like a plague. Even 50 year old Hopkins fought Kovalev. Pascal fought him 2 times. (Quackenson wanted none of him, of course, but who else?) Who ducked Canelo, Gonzalez, Crawford, Brook, etc.? Why is it a huge wonder why these guys have shiny resumes?

Who would duck Garcia, for example? Everybody wants Danny Boy. Even Khan, Herrera, Matthysse want him back. Morales probably wants a trilogy.

How can you not have a shiny resume with this wide range of opportunities available on your lap? He moved up, big deal. He fought semi-retired Malignaggi and Guerrero for his debut. Nobody complained.

GG should move up and fight the #2 P4P doe.

*The world rankings of the four major organisations (IBF, WBO, WBC, WBA) do not accurately reflect who the best boxers in each weight division are. Case in point: arguably the five best heavyweights in the world – Klitschko, Wilder, Ortiz, Fury and Povetkin – do not feature in the IBF heavyweight top 10. Therefore the Transnational Boxing Rankings have been referred to in this article.

Some weird haters (and Canelo) keep claiming that GGG has a bad resume and there you have it. He actually has the best resume of all active fighters.

Now dont even start arguing that Canelo knocking out old and small Cotto or chinny Khan is more impressive than GGG stopping Lemieux and Murray.

Also you can check out the latest Fight Game with Jim Lampley, he has GGG on #1 P4P now.
your a joke. you need to educate yourself on the great sport of boxing.
