why didnt he try to make the fight? why dont u ask him? just because he doesnt make a fight u want doesnt necessarily mean hes ducking. a lof of fighters dont make fights, does that make them ducks too? that reasoning is quite childish.

He just left top rank, he was suing arum for money owed from the gatti and Judah ppvs so why would he fight top rank fighters?

and for the ppl talking about prime cotto and margarito, he has better wins on his resume than prime cotto/margarito. would have been great to see him fight them, but they do not make or break his resume.

a guarantee is a minimum. he only recieved a 10 million guarantee to fight delahoya yet he made tons more. he wouldn't have made 3 or 4 times more. you are just calculating for the guarantees. plus arum is not a psyhic. he can't predict that floyd would explode in popularity. hence the guarantees. if he makes more great, but if he stays around 400k arum wouldn't lose money.

one year is more than enough to have fought the best . nonito fought montiel in his first fight at bw as an example.. again im not sayin floyd ducked tszu , im just sayin a tsu win could've been hell of a lot better than just a corrales win

he was asked many times why he's not fighting cotto. here are some of his answers. cotto lives too far away, cotto's not a CEO, cotto's not a ppv star, cotto got wobbled by zab judah(so did floyd). sounds like a duck to me.

Lol....career high paydays vs Cotto and margarito after margarito lost to Paul Williams and Cotto lost to margarito?

i wonder if they also feel like cotto ducked floyd being that cotto never tried to make that fight happen

So he retired to duck margarito coming off a loss and Cotto coming off a loss?
