... Um, he looks fine. Not to mention he has a wide / stocky frame. Also, he hasn't been hiding anywhere, you'd know this if you followed the sport closely.

All these "oh look, X fighter is fat between fights" threads are pathetic and pointless. These guys, more than any other athletes, deserve some privacy and leeway after grueling months of preparation that lead to the night where the real thing takes place.

I think people like to do this just because they are out of shape/ugly and it makes them feel better about themselves knocking on athletes as soon as they don't look ripped (yet they are still in better shape than 99% of the people who critique them).

Like another poster said previously, he went on thaboxingvoice and answered questions from callers/critics head-on a few days after losing to Brook. He ain't hiding...

Also, on that same broadcast Kenny Porter said Shawn is done for 2014, he'll be taking the rest of the year off.

I wait for his comeback in 2015. He has the potential to be a world champion again, he is definitely not just an unskilled brawler, however he needs to be more cautious, a little more tactic and maybe a better, new coach. Porter is still green Ihope he can revenge his loss in the nex few years!
