WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs) had no trouble with the scale, but undefeated challenger Edwin Rodriguez (24-0, 16KOs) struggled to make the 168-pounds limit. Ward weighed 167.8-pounds at Friday's official weigh-in. Rodriguez, however, was pretty cut down and weighed two-pounds over the limit at 170-pounds. He has two hours to make the limit. The HBO televised fight takes place on Saturday night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

Kovalev is the future king of the division. I like Stevenson but he's not beating a monster like Kovalev. Don't expect Ward to move up anytime soon

You guys really think kovalev can beat Ward? Please we will see what he is made of when he fights the black russian. Tho he should beat Sylakk - Sylakk is a dam good boxer. Stop anointing these cats that have not been fought back , their opponents do what they are suppsed to do- lets see what they do when someone steps ups up and goes nowhere round aftet round and they have to adapt and question their own heart -
