Exactly, it is said that Tesla had invented a free-energy machine that could generate free electricity, rumour is that it was destroyed and all the patents/info was bought-out by energy companies.

Its a shame that POS Edison is respected in any way shape or form. He didnt do anything but hire people and steal all of their life work while paying them peanuts.

@Edison "stealing". He didn't steal anything. What he did was have a team that HE worked with to invent things like the first motion picture. He also developed and improved many things that were certainly not up to par before he got his hands on it, like the phonograph.

Yeah, of his over 1000 inventions, he didn't invent all of them or wasn't the mastermind behind all them but he did have his hand in on majority of them and that is why he is arguably the most influential people of the second millennium.

Tesla is an afterthought and can gtfo. No one cares or will remember him in the same light(no pun intended) as Thomas Edison.
