  • That Jab, tight Defense and patience is Cottos bread and butter

Which he all had early on....No clue why he would abandon that...Keeping that up along with lateral movement picking and choosing shots untill the moments right is key..Not this arrogant type of stuff..It was masterful to see him move Pac back and time him while maintaining good D...Its just Manny is too fast and strong to trade with..And Its those shots you dont see that kill you the most...All praises due to Pac though!

he needed his jab.... can't BELIEVE he didnt use it more

however, i've never been sold on his D, even though he keeps his hands high, he's vlunerabled to straight shots and uppercuts....

Cotto just didn't discipline himself. I was baffled to why he fell into Mannys trading trap which every fighter seems to. YOU CANNOT TRADE WITH THIS MAN!

Cotto was doing great while disciplined and use his jab once he stopped, it was game over. Also, Santiago was absolutely useless, they may have substituted him with a damn mannequin.

That was something i knew would for sure happen if Cotto got cocky..They see a smaller man and think they will dominate him...Pac kept his poker face even when he said he felt Cottos power.....Pac proved hes also a smart fighter..

I think Evangelista regardless of the drama wouldve been way better..

Well now we now a good jab and defense can beat Manny, Floyd may be the right man for the job.

                well...even after winning...

im sure Manny would go back to the drawing board...
and learn what he did wrong ...

meaning he will not let anyone's jab defeat
                him in the future ....

even if he gets jabbed...a lot...
                his chin is solid ...

doesnt matter...when hit...manny looses it too.

how many times did you see pac become stationary against the ropes? he didnt know what to do either but cotto lost it and manny regained composure.

when cotto was jabbing, manny didnt know what to do, when he gets hurt, he wants to trade, when he gets hurt, you know it b/c he throws his hands up.

he was just smarter than cotto last night and was cooler.

those are huge flaws against an elite like Mayweather..floyd will take advantage of pac

You didn't listen to Manny after the fight. He said he laid on the ropes so he could see how hard Cotto hits. He has the ability to spin off the ropes as shown later. I wouldn't think for a second that he doesn't know how to move off the ropes.
