    5-setters on clay--a different smoke.
    But he did look great!

Yeah but that was on Madrid clay which is faster and more low bouncing which don't favour nadal, in fact its practically a clay court, they just put a bit of dust on it.

It's suprising that he beat Nadal at Rome though, pretty epic stuff. Reminds me of Nadal beating Federer at Australian Open 2009.

Federer was better on the surface, he was an all round better player, he had an amazing match just before that beat a fit Del Potro handily but lost to Nadal who had just played a 5 set marathon a day before the final.

Not sure if Novak can be stopped at this point. Just playing at another level at the moment.

So true, except possibly for the 5-set parameter.

          Starts in a week, right?

Man could win the Grand Slam.

I couldn't believe Djokovic beat Nadal again, very impressive.

But I'm not going to get carried away, French open is a whole different ball game and Nadal will not go down without a fight and I wouldn't be surprised if Nadal wins again.

Was a great game that Novak is something else.

Grass is a whole different surface that Djokovic hasn't played well on at all. I think he can get to the final at least at RG but I think he may burn out by the UsOpen if he keeps a high level up.

Thanks, I was mostly being facetious.

Nadal still favored for French, and probably Wimby too.
Djoko will be US Open fave.

Of course, if he wins French, all bets are off.
