A Number System Can Really Come In Handy When Trying To Diversify Your Combos

This was our 1st time training together on the mitts. I was doing a one week seminar in the Netherlands and this youngster asked for a little mitts after class. So 1) this was our 1st time on the mitts and 2)his first language is not English. So having a number system really helped him and I get a little chemistry quickly on the mitts so I could try to make it a fun experience for him. Of course I would want to change the technique on some of his punches but remember I'm not his head coach.

I think a number system makes it easy to build combos on the fly, while keeping your mitts freestyle and on the move.
