1)mexico(4 times coast to coast) saw every major mayan site
2)cuba(7 times)
3)belize(caye caulker island & inland to mayan ruins caracol)
4)honduras(copan mayan ruins were cool but everyone carried guns)
5)guatemala(saw tikal mayan ruins & hike live volcano pacaya, antigua)
6)peru(machu picchu, amazon jungle & lake titicaca, lima, puno, cusco)
7)bolivia(la paz was so much fun.met great women & cool tourists)
8)amsterdam(sex, drugs, concerts, anne frank haus, van gogh, etc)
9)italy(rome, capri, positano, sicily, colosseum, vatican city, sistine chapel, agrigento,mt. vasovius & hiked live volcano mt.etna)
10)egypt(everything but mt sanai & spent a week on a boat on the nile, hurghada was very cool)

I've only been to Belize City (plenty of times). There's a really good Indian restaurant there, just down the street from the casino.

Anyway, if you get a taxi get the price first. Same goes for cabs everywhere really.

caye caulker island is a must!!!! they even have a canadian bar there some guy set up. lots of great fishing, diving & snorkelling....golf carts to get around....it's all white sand too. don't swim at night though because the tiger sharks can get close to the island. you walk on the beach for 50 yards in some places & it just drops off into the dark sea...i find the people really nice too. not cheap but not overly expensive either...i've never been to hopkins. most of my time was in caye caulker & i stayed in mira flores...
