I always thought that Resto was a pretty talented fighter who didn't really need this. He lacked natural power but he may have been able to beat some of the opponents that he used illegal tactics against even without using them.

There have been rumours that criminals bet a lot of money on Resto to win the fight and wanted it to be "ensured". Those are nothing but rumours of course.

It's a very good fight but knowing what was going on and how brutal it gets in the later rounds, yes it's pretty hard to watch.

That'll be the 1st and last time I'll ever see that fight. Talk about Violence! I agree with the Lewis and Retso should go to hell in gasoline shorts. One of the hardest fights to watch
