the boxing was neat. i'd like to go to Havana when they have their national championships. I think that is held in December at "kid chocolate" gym on the prado. the culture is neat. found the food pretty plain at most restaurants. seen Cuban dancers, theatre, etc. varadero is beautiful but it's not real cuba. Havana & Holguin were real cuba. luxuries like washers & dryers, dishwashers you learn to appreciate. if you like scuba diving & snorkelling there are lots o great spots for that. it's stuck in the 50s & that's what gives it a unique feel...
