Forget the title. The best Ricky ever looked to me was that so called loss to Figueroa. He was in Figueroa's face all night, he mauled him pretty bad at 140, and to imply that he's ducking Chon. That is just trolling. A BS title is just a bargaining chip. A ticket to better pay.

That fight was scrappy as hell. I don't think either looked especially 'impressive'. Figeroa clearly doesn't belong at 140 and nor does Ricky. Ricky's best performances were against Rocky Martinez (the win looks even better given what Rocky's done since) and Kevin Mitchell. Boxed really well against Katsidis too, when he was an underdog going in I believe.

I'd much rather he fought Zepeda at a more natural weight. Could've led to a big fight with Terry Flanagan.
