Report: Apple CEO Steve Jobs detained in Japan airport over ninja throwing stars
Tuesday, September 14, 2010 - 10:26 AM EDT "Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer SteveJobs said he’ll never come back to Japan after officials at an airport barred him from taking Ninja throwing stars aboard his private plane, SPA! magazine reported in its latest issue," Adam Le and Jason Clenfield report for Bloomberg.
"A security scan at Kansai International Airport, near Osaka, detected the weapons inside the executive’s carry-on luggage in July as he was returning home to the U.S. from a family vacation in Kyoto, the Japanese magazine reported, citing unidentified officials at the airport and the transportation ministry," Le and Clenfield report.
"Jobs said it wouldn’t make sense for a person to try to hijack his own plane, according to the report," Le and Clenfield report. "He then told officials he would never visit Japan again, the magazine reported."

MacDailyNews Take: By the wayApple released products, we've always suspected that Jobs was very practiced in the ways of ninjutsu, but we always thought he was more into Shinobi-iri, Hensōjutsu, and Intonjutsu than Shurikenjutsu. For that reason, we would have taken him for more of a Kunai man than for Shuriken, which casts significant doubt in our minds about the validity of this report.
